She is a heavily built full fibreglass construction that just gets on and handles heavy weather, this linked with her ketch rig construction gives poise and easy sail handling even in tough conditions.

Mercedes OM636 42hp diesel engine which is a quiet and powerful engine for a boat of this size.
We have made many improvements over the years including a custom engine panel with integrated engine hours meter, and electric solenoid stop.
We replaced the difficult to access oil filter with a remote spin on oil filter.
The complete engine was removed and comprehensively rebuilt in 2020 including reground crankshaft, new bearings and crank shaft seals, all new water pumps, engine mounts and hoses etc.
Complete engine was sand blasted, primed and repainted, Upgraded Racor style fuel filtration fitted and she also has a non standard stainless-steel fuel 35 gallon fuel tank.
She also has a fairly new and very unusual for a boat of this size Fisher Panda 4000s diesel generator which is located in the port cockpit locker and was meticulously and professionally installed.
This allows limitless battery charging at anchor and AC power available which can run any AC appliance including the non standard immersion heater.
Fully battened mainsail with slab reefing, stack pack and lazy jacks. 110% furling genoa on Selden furler plus additional smaller genoa and cruising chute.
Matching mizzen with stack pack and Andersen winch. Oversized sprayhood with new windows (2024), cockpit dodgers, cockpit cushions, full cockpit enclosure, Andersen 40ST primary winches, upgraded wheel, hot/cold cockpit shower and Lofrans electric windlass with 50m chain and 45lb CQR anchor.
The Anchor winch has its own dedicated battery forward with dc to dc echo charger, the windlass can be operated from the helm or via wireless remote.
