Description

For sale is my Tohatsu 4 Stroke, 4 Hp Long shaft outboard motor.
Selling due to having sold the boat it was bought for and am very unlikely to ever need to use again as I have left sailing due to ill health.
The motor is about 3 years old as I bought it new in 2023 and only used it for sea trials and one passage. After that passage it had a first service after which I drained the carb and stored the motor without fuel.
It started easily today (03 07 2026) and has been running for a couple of hours to drain the tank again.
Condition is good apart from some scuff marks on the cover from storage. My one comment is that it's a heavy outboard (around 26 Kg) which was too much for the boat (Welsford Pathfinder) that it was bought for. Video taken today.
