The Sunline 31 is a versatile, fun and sensible family cruiser. British-built by Discovery Marine, the Sunline 31 packs a genuinely surprising amount of boat into her 33 feet — and with a draft of under a metre, she's tailor-made for the inland water ways or coastal cruising. She will cruise comfortably at 20-22kts all day and will top out at 26-27kts. A massive benefit of the 1.7dti is consumption, she will use approximately 24 litres per hour at 20 kts.

'Dignity' offers comfortable accommodation for six across three double berths a double cabin forward, a transverse double aft, and a saloon berth made up from the drop-leaf dinette.The galley to starboard is well equipped for extended weekends aboard, with electric hob, microwave, fridge and icebox, while the separate heads to port provide sea toilet, holding tank, basin and shower. Up top, the generous cockpit — a real strength of this design — carries a dinette that converts to a sun pad, with excellent all-round visibility from the helm and a teak-laid bathing platform aft for easy boarding and swimming.
Forward is a raised double berth, coming aft is the dinette that converts into another large double berth. The galley is aft to starboard and is well equipped with a fridge with freezer draw, microwave, two burner electric hob, kettle and stainless steel basin. The heads is to port and has a separate shower compartment, sea toilet (with holding tank), stainless steel wash basin and vanity. There is ample stowage for toiletries etc. Aft, under the cockpit is a full beam large double berth, this is separated from the saloon with a curtain and will comfortably sleep two adults. There is a hanging locker and plenty of stowage.
The cockpit has a helm bench seat to starboard and a passenger chaise to port. Aft in the cockpit to starboard is a large C shaped seat with both dining table and infill to become a sun pad. To port is another chaise and a wet bar. The bathing platform has a stainless steel boarding ladder and swim shower. There is a complete cockpit cover allowing for use year round helped by heating outlets in the cockpit.
All of the accommodation is serviced by hot and cold pressurised water and diesel heating.
Built by Discovery Marine in 2004. Discovery marine were founded by a team of ex Sealine employees with plenty of experience in getting as much useable space from a design. White GRP hull and superstructure. Teak laid bathing platform. Stainless steel pulpit/safety rail and grab rails.
She benefits from a comprehensive navigation suite including Raymarine radar and plotter. Clipper depth sounder. Icom IC-421 DSC VHF.
Powered by twin Mercruiser D1.7L DTI Alpha diesels powering stainless duo props via drive legs, she's ready for the season benefitting from new bellows, full engine and leg service carried out in July 2026. Approximately 450 hours. Vetus bow thruster with controls at the helm. Electric windlass with controls on the bow.
