Description

Squib 669 Ex Scandal is a 1983 Oliver Lee built Squib which underwent refurbishment by Tony Saltonstall in 2005. Measurement certificate issued March 2011. White Hull and Deck with a grey nonslip topsides. Sails 3 Main sails 2Jibs and 2 Spinnakers All good. New forestay and back stay, new backstay tensioner. Halyards replaced. New toe-straps. Mast and boom are average condition still in good. Outboard bracket fitted on transom. Honda 4 stroke outboard motor, runs well. Emergency service kit. Clipper Duet combined Log and Echo Sounder fitted. Silva 102 B/H compass fitted on bespoke mast bracket. Hawk mast head wind Vane, Plastimo 609 furling system. Coastal flare pack. 5kg Anchor with chain and warp.
669 is rigged for sail training but can easily but converted back for racing. spare forestay and backstay and lots more extra boat stuff. Sitting on an Alco braked trailer with alloys and a spare wheel.

Good Outboard runs really well on E5 Not E10 Spare 5 ltr can and 2 x 1ltr top-up bottles for fuel.

Sails & Spars

3 mainsails 2 jibs and 2 Spinnakers, Mainly BATT some Hyde Sails, all sail are still very useable One Main and one jib have been converted for sail training with one reef in the main. All others are good to race one spinnaker may need some minor repairs.
Mast and boom are old but still good enough condition to race as is spinnaker pole. Haylard have been replaced. New backstay and forestay with a new back stay tensioner.
