The fully fitted kitchen has a gas hob and oven as well as a microwave and large 240v fridge freezer.

She starts from cold without the pre heat every time, even when we’ve been frozen in.
The bow thruster is now a Vetus 135Kgf brushless model that has truly amazing performance. The upgraded bow thruster means you can reverse as easily as going forward and will not burn out or over heat. She can literally spin on the spot.
The engine has two alternators;
One 75Amp to charge the starter batteries - 2x 110ah Lead acid
One 175Amp that charges the domestic batteries - Bank 1, 5x 110ah lead acid, Bank 2, 1x 200ah & 1x 300ah LiFePO4 (Lithium) The lithium batteries can be monitored and controlled using an app on your phone.
There is a splitter that diverts charge to the bow thruster batteries once the starter batteries have recharged - 2x 300ah AGM
There are four large solar panels mounted on the roof. They were rated 1275w when new and they can be raised and lowered in the winter months to improve efficiency. They charge the domestic batteries through a Victron 100/150 controller that you can monitor through an app on your phone.
There is a 450L diesel tank.
There is a 450L fresh water tank
There is a 350L black water/pump out tank for toilet waste.
As is the norm with wide beams the steering position is at the rear above the engine bay. “The Toucan” has a wheel for everyday sailing though there is an auxiliary tiller stored in the engine room.
Another ‘extra’ is steps up onto the roof from the cockpit area which are a godsend and make access to the roof very easy.

Currently moored in Ware, Hertfordshire The Toucan is available immediately. We have had the best five years with “The Toucan” constant cruising the canals and rivers from Liverpool to London, across The Wash and the fens and pretty much everywhere in between that is accessible to a wide beam.We are now following the grand children and emigrating and that means it’s someone else’s turn to take the helm.
