I have monitored a large selection of boats for sale on Apollo Duck. Lengths vary from 55 feet to 62 feet. Prices asked range from £39,000 to £76,000. I am well aware that nb DRUMBEG is ready for its next blacking. I have not found that possible anywhere near the Union Canal at Linlithgow. That will have to be left to the buyer of this boat. Furthermore, there is currently an issue with the Hurricane heater, possibly concerning its compressor fan or pump. Again, I have had problems finding a skilled engineer to sort this out.
Bearing the above in mind, I am not seeking top dollar. I am readily prepared to give a massive discount. This will more than cover blacking + heating issue, even complete replacement of the system should a buyer so decide. DRUMBEG is therefore offered at a rock-bottom price. It is very important to note that the mooring at Berth 4, Linlithgow (just off Backstation Road) is emphatically not for sale alongwith boat, since it belongs to Scottish Canals. The boat will require to be moved from this mooring.
