MF «Ramtind» has undergone comprehensive shipyard overhauls and refurbishment rounds to comply with modern tender standards, passenger requirements, and class certifications: Passenger Areas & Interior Lounges & Public Spaces: Complete renewal of seating, flooring, wall panelling, and transition to LED lighting. Universal Accessibility & Sanitary Facilities:
Upgraded restrooms, including dedicated facilities adapted for wheelchair users and reduced mobility. HVAC & Safety: Overhauled ventilation/heating systems, modernized fire detection and updated life-saving appliances in passenger zones. Hull, Deck & Technical Overhaul Hull & Steelwork: Grit blasting, full hull/superstructure recoating, and targeted steel replacement in high-wear areas. Propulsion & Machinery: Major overhaul of main and auxiliary engines, shaft pulling/inspection, and thruster/propeller maintenance thrusterer/propellere and ramps: Overhaul of hydraulic ramp mechanisms and bow/stern visor seals, along with renewal of anti-skid coatings and deck markings. Bridge & Electrical: Upgrades to switchboards, automation systems, and bridge navigation/communication equipment to meet current DNV/NMA requirement.

The owner used in 2024/2025 20 millions Norwegian crowns in upgrading the vessel. The amount in USD is 2.450.000,- and in Euro 1.850.000,-
